Santa Rosa's Community Farmers' Market runs twice a week, all year: Wednesdays 9am to 1pm and Saturdays 8:30am to 1pm. It has moved back to the parking lot of the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building on Maple Avenue, its home before the pandemic, after Oliver's Market took over its site at Farmers Lane Plaza. The nonprofit Agricultural Community Events runs it, with locally grown produce at the center. Its last day at Farmers Lane was the first Saturday in October.

This is a neighborhood market rather than a destination, and that is its appeal: regulars, growers who know them by name, and a weekend morning that feels like Santa Rosa at home. Visitors get the town without the performance.
It is also practical. Orders can be placed online and collected curbside, which suits anyone staying in a rental with a kitchen and planning a few meals in, and the twice-weekly rhythm means there is a market on both ends of a long weekend.
A nonprofit that runs certified farmers' markets in Sonoma and Marin counties, among them the Petaluma, Santa Rosa Community and Santa Rosa Downtown markets.
Visit organizer site →The parking lot of the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building, at Brookwood and Maple avenues across from the fairgrounds, has long been one of the city's market grounds. Santa Rosa's original certified farmers' market, founded in 1967, set up there on Wednesday and Saturday mornings for many years.
In 2012 that market moved north to the arts center on Mark West Springs Road, and a new market formed by local farmers, vendors and neighbors took over the Veterans lot, keeping the market mornings alive on Maple Avenue.
