taste the earth

Gravenstein apples, dairies, and vineyards share the same ground here, layered over a counter-cultural streak that never quite left. The Barlow's converted warehouses pour wine, beer, and spirits a few steps apart; Iron Horse and Dutton-Goldfield sit just west toward the river. Stay on an apple farm that rings the town, taste without a trace of polish, and eat close to the source. This is wine country with the dirt still on it — farm, orchard, and vine in one breath.
