Keller Estate's Día de los Muertos fiesta is an evening of remembrance at the family winery in the Petaluma Gap. The winery plaza is dressed as a Mexican pueblo, with live traditional music and Mexican cuisine served alongside Keller Estate wines. At its heart stands a community ofrenda: guests are invited to bring photographs of loved ones who have died to place on the shared altar, and the winery provides the frames. It is a ticketed gathering held each autumn around the Day of the Dead, running from late afternoon into the evening.

Día de los Muertos honors the people we have lost, and this celebration feels personal rather than staged. The altar fills with the faces guests bring, and the evening moves at the pace of conversation, music and food. The setting adds to it: Keller Estate farms its vineyards in the Petaluma Gap, where cool afternoon wind off the Pacific shapes the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the glass. For anyone looking for an autumn evening with meaning, shared with family or friends, it is a warm way to spend a few hours in wine country.
Keller Estate is the Keller family's winery in Sonoma County's Petaluma Gap, farming its estate vineyards organically and hosting the fiesta at its Petaluma winery.
Visit organizer site →Keller Estate is the work of Arturo Keller, born and raised in Mexico City, and his wife Deborah. They planted their first Chardonnay on these Petaluma hills in 1989, and when it came time to build a winery they turned to the celebrated Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta.
Their daughter Ana Keller now leads the estate, and under her the family's Mexican heritage has become part of its life, honored each autumn with a Día de los Muertos ofrenda.
