The Lodge at Bodega Bay was named the #1 hotel in the world by Condé Nast Traveler readers in two consecutive Reader's Choice Awards — an extraordinary recognition that reflects the property's combination of dramatic coastal setting, refined hospitality, and deep operational craft. The 83-room oceanside resort sits on a bluff overlooking Bodega Bay's harbor and the open Pacific, with all guestrooms angled to capture the ocean. The Woodside Hospitality Group property has anchored the Sonoma Coast as its premier coastal lodging since 1991, with periodic refinements that keep the experience fresh.

Specialty Offerings

The signature Drakes Sonoma Coast restaurant is anchored by California coastal cuisine — fresh seafood from Bodega Bay alongside Sonoma County produce and wines. The full-service spa specializes in treatments inspired by the surrounding sea, and the property includes 4-, 5-, and 6-piece outdoor fire pit areas, two clay tennis courts, a chip-and-putt practice green, and direct trail access to coastal hiking. The location places guests within walking distance of Bodega Bay's market district, fishing fleet, and surf, while remaining a 30-minute drive from the Russian River wineries.
