The Sea Ranch Lodge is one of California's most architecturally significant hospitality properties — a 17-room boutique hotel set on 53 acres of dramatic Sonoma Coast cliff and meadow. The 1968 Lodge anchors the larger Sea Ranch community, a 7,000-acre planned development of 2,224 private homes designed by Moore, Lyndon, Turnbull, and Whitaker around a defining concept of 'living lightly on the land.' The Lodge has been recognized with one Michelin Key for hospitality excellence and was named one of the Best Hotels in Northern California by Condé Nast Traveler readers.

A multi-million-dollar revitalization completed in 2023 included full restoration of the 17 guest rooms (designed by NICOLEHOLLIS) and reimagined public spaces (designed by Charles de Lisle). The Dining Room offers seasonal coastal cuisine; the Solarium, Bar + Lounge, Café, and General Store extend the experience. There are no televisions in the guest rooms — instead, each room includes binoculars for whale and bird watching, beach bags, walking sticks, and a complimentary bottle of Sonoma County wine. Programming spans morning yoga, trivia nights, live jazz, and workshops in scarf dyeing with foraged plants.

General Manager

Food & Beverage Director

Kristina Jetton is general manager of The Sea Ranch Lodge, the public face of a property whose owners (an investor group with personal ties to Sea Ranch) have stayed deliberately anonymous since acquiring the lodge in 2018. She oversaw the multi-year reopening, the careful restoration of the original 1968 architecture, and the kind of precise, hospitality-first operation that the lodge's design legacy demands.

Jay Wyant-King serves as Director of Food and Beverage at The Sea Ranch Lodge, leading the property's culinary program across The Dining Room, the Bar + Lounge, the Solarium, and the on-property Café. His appointment was part of a 2024 culinary leadership refresh that aligned the Lodge's food and beverage program with its broader commitment to sustainability, local sourcing from the Sea Ranch Farm, and the bounty of Sonoma County's coast.
