Timber Cove Resort

Timber Cove is one of California's most architecturally significant coastal hotels: a property with a defined identity rooted in its 1960s origins. The 46-room resort sits on 25 dramatic acres of bluff overlooking the Pacific just north of Jenner, the setting often photographed by Ansel Adams as one of California's most beautiful coastlines. The property houses California's second-smallest state park, where the Peace Statue Monument 'The Expanding Universe', designed by Beniamino Bufano, stands as a 1962 commission by Timber Cove's original owner.

The renovated structure preserves the iconic mid-century redwood architecture while adding contemporary comforts: each guestroom features Crosley LP record players with curated vinyl, eco-friendly LATHER toiletries, luxurious linens, in-room Steep coffee, yoga mats, and Nest-guided fireplaces. The Coast Kitchen restaurant emphasizes seasonal coastal cuisine; the Outdoor Living Room with billiards, ping-pong, and fire pits provides social spaces; and over two miles of hiking trails connect the property to surrounding bluffs and beaches.
