Chef-owner Natalie Goble runs this counter-service stop in an old Foster's Freeze on Gravenstein Highway South. Corn tortillas are milled and pressed on site for El Coronado rockfish tacos, tostadas and warm chips, with rockfish ceviche, a fisherman's stew of the daily catch, the Inglewood burger and soft-serve cones. A big patio among native plants; open daily.

Handline is a coastal California restaurant on Gravenstein Highway South in Sebastopol, set in a converted Foster's Freeze that still carries the shape of the old roadside stand. Chef Natalie Goble and Lowell Sheldon, the team behind the former Peter Lowell's, opened it in 2016, and Goble now runs it as chef and owner. The cooking draws on the seafood traditions of the California and Baja coasts, and much of the produce comes from the Goble family's farm nearby. The format is order at the counter with food brought to the table; the room is bright and modern, its windows open fully to the air, and a large patio set among native California plantings fills on sunny days. Its following has grown by word of mouth, and for many in West County it is simply the everyday stop.

Natalie Goble co-founded Handline in 2016 in a converted Foster's Freeze on Gravenstein Highway South and now runs it on her own. She came from the team behind the former Peter Lowell's, and she builds the menu around corn tortillas milled and pressed on site, coastal seafood and produce from farms close to Sebastopol.
