In the clubhouse of a city-owned Santa Rosa golf course, Bennett Valley, the kitchen cooks vegetable-forward California food from chef Alec Graham. The terrace looks over the fairways to the Bennett Valley hills; weekend brunch runs from 9 to 2 and weekday happy hour from 2 to 5. Sonoma Valley and Bennett Valley wineries fill the list.

Iron and Vine is the restaurant and event venue at Bennett Valley Golf Course in southeast Santa Rosa, a city-owned public course that first opened in 1969. The restaurant opened in March 2023 as part of a revitalization of the clubhouse, and in a few short years this unlikely setting has become one of the city's more interesting dining rooms. Executive chef Alec Graham came to Santa Rosa by way of Toronto's Harbord Room and Parts & Labour, a resort kitchen in Nicaragua and the culinary team at Foley Family Wines, and he cooks contemporary California food built around the seasons. The location is part of the appeal: a public course clubhouse turning out food that holds its own against downtown rooms.

Chef Alec Graham leads the kitchen at Iron and Vine, the contemporary California restaurant inside the Bennett Valley Golf Course clubhouse in southeast Santa Rosa. His cooking is calibrated for both the clubhouse lunch crowd and evening dining, with a menu rooted in seasonal Sonoma County sourcing and a terrace that overlooks the golf course and Bennett Valley hills.
