On the Sonoma Plaza, owner Miranda Ives runs Mozaik as a women-owned kitchen that cooks globally and sources locally. Plates range from a Wagyu umami smash burger to Kashmiri chicken tacos, Sichuan prawn wontons and Marrakesh kafta, meant for passing around. Local reds, global whites and house MZK Coffee carry through lunch and supper.

Mozaik opened in the fall of 2024 in the former Sausage Emporium space on the Sonoma Plaza, reimagined by owner Miranda Ives as a women-owned gathering place for globally inspired cooking. Ives already knew the town's food life well, having founded Hare and Hatter, Emporium Wines and Beanwrks. The menu draws on her travels and on Sonoma's farms in equal measure, leaning on local produce, meats and wines. Service spans lunch and supper, and the wine list favors Sonoma vintners alongside global pours, with a $25 corkage for guests bringing their own. The room is modern and unpretentious, built for lingering. Still a young kitchen, it is already finding its following.
