Lunch at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery, on a terrace above the Alexander Valley vines or in the dining room. The menu gathers the filmmaker's favorite Italian and international dishes, many served family style, with Neapolitan-style pizzas and produce from the estate's organic garden. Coppola wines pour by the glass, and the full bar mixes cocktails.

Rustic, Francis's Favorites opened in July 2010, when Francis Ford Coppola turned the former Chateau Souverain in Geyserville into his own winery and gave it a restaurant built around an Argentine parrilla grill and the foods he loved from around the world. The name says it plainly: the menu follows his own tastes, and the restaurant still describes itself as the place where the spirit of his childhood table lives on. Delicato Family Wines, a family-owned wine company founded in 1924, acquired the winery in 2021 and carries Rustic forward with Executive Chef Tim Bodell at the stove. On the same grounds, the Movie Gallery displays memorabilia from Coppola's films and the tasting room pours the Coppola wines, so lunch here easily stretches into an afternoon.

Tim Bodell has been with the Francis Ford Coppola Winery since 2011 and is executive chef for Delicato Family Wines, bringing 30 years of food and wine experience. Raised near Philadelphia, he graduated cum laude from Johnson and Wales University and has twice been invited to cook at the James Beard House in New York.
