Stumptown Brewery is a Russian River roadhouse and brewpub in Guerneville, with an expansive deck above the river. The menu is genuine roadhouse (burgers, barbecue, fried chicken, smoked tri-tip, and pulled pork), while the bar pours house-brewed beers and Sonoma County guest taps. Live music plays the deck in warmer months, a longstanding summer fixture.

Stumptown Brewery sits on River Road in Guerneville, a roadhouse and working brewpub with an expansive outdoor deck above the Russian River. Its current owners bought it in 1995, shortly after one of the river's major floods, and they built the interior expecting the water to return: walls faced in reclaimed fence posts and concrete floors that can be washed clean of silt. That foresight paid off in February 2019, when more than five feet of water came through the building; staff, volunteers and regulars dug the place out, and it reopened on March 9 with its full lineup of beers. Beer is brewed on site, and every August the brewery hosts the Stumptown Beer Revival and BBQ Cookoff. It remains a low-key river roadhouse rather than a showplace, the kind of bar where many of the faces belong to regulars.

Peter Hackett owns Stumptown Brewery, the River Road roadhouse in Guerneville, where he began brewing his own beer in a small on-site brewery in the early 2000s. Those house beers now pour in rotating styles beside guest taps from other Sonoma County brewers, and the pub hosts the Stumptown Beer Revival and BBQ Cookoff each August.
