where the coast eats
dine on the coast
Dine on the Sonoma Coast, from the Bodega Bay harbor to Valley Ford and Duncans Mills: seafood off the boats, and cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the ridges above the Pacific. These are the tables the coast keeps for itself, chosen by the people who live and work here.
Open to the public as well as Lodge guests, this Bodega Bay dining room gathers around a stone fireplace with the ocean beyond the glass. Executive chef Brendalee Reiplinger, back since 2024, cooks seafood-forward coastal California dishes from the season; Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and Chardonnay lead the wine list. Breakfast daily, and a fire pit on the patio.

Valley Ford Cheese & Creamery is the café and cheese counter of the Bianchi-Moreda family, whose dairy ranch near this small coastal village dates to 1918. The menu centers on the farm's own cheeses, Estero Gold and the fontina-style Highway 1 among them, served on boards and in grilled sandwiches, with pastries, local wine and beer.
