Founded in 1994 by Don Hartford and Jennifer Jackson-Hartford — daughter of Jackson Family Wines founder Jess Jackson — and now led by their daughter Hailey Hartford Murray as president, Hartford specializes in handmade Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and old-vine Zinfandel from prized sites across the Russian River Valley, Green Valley, Carneros, Sonoma Coast, and Anderson Valley. A South African trained at Stellenbosch and Elsenburg, Lordan joined the Forestville winery in 2010 and crafts wines built to express the character of each block.
