Fred and Nancy Cline opened Jacuzzi in 2007 across the road from Cline Cellars, a tribute to Fred's grandfather Valeriano Jacuzzi, inventor of the spa pump, who taught Fred to farm. The 18,000-square-foot villa is modeled on the family's ancestral home in Casarza della Delizia, with Italian varietals throughout.

Jacuzzi Family Vineyards was founded in 2007 by Fred and Nancy Cline as a tribute to Fred's maternal grandfather, Valeriano Jacuzzi — the Italian immigrant who emigrated from Casarza della Delizia to California, co-invented the Jacuzzi whirlpool jet, and first taught Fred to farm grapes and make wine. Situated on 300 acres directly across Arnold Drive from Cline Cellars, the 18,000-square-foot Tuscan-style villa is modeled on the Jacuzzi family's ancestral home in northeastern Italy and is built around a central piazza where guests taste and picnic. The portfolio is deliberately Italian — Prosecco, Arneis, Pinot Grigio, Moscato, Sangiovese, Barbera, Primitivo, Nero d'Avola, Teroldego — grown across Cline family vineyards in Sonoma and sourced fruit from specialty growers. The adjacent Olive Press produces award-winning estate olive oils from the same property. One of Carneros' most hospitable family estates.

Sangiovese, Sonoma — A signature Italian red: bright cherry and savory acidity, in a style that reads close to its Tuscan counterpart in cool Carneros.

Barbera, Sonoma — A juicy, high-acid Italian red built for the table.

Primitivo, Contra Costa County — A bold, brambly old-world cousin of Zinfandel from the Williams vineyard.

Arneis, Sonoma — A crisp, aromatic Piedmontese white; one of the estate's flagship whites.

Pinot Grigio, Sonoma — A bright, easy Italian-style white.

Founded in 2007 by Fred and Nancy Cline as a tribute to Fred's grandfather Valeriano Jacuzzi (inventor of the namesake pump), Jacuzzi Family Vineyards is a Carneros specialist in California-grown Italian varieties — also producing Nebbiolo, Nero d'Avola, Teroldego, Moscato, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Syrah and sparkling, in a Tuscan-style villa that's also home to The Olive Press.

Sister winery to Cline Family Cellars just across the road, Jacuzzi occupies an Italian villa modeled on the family's home in Casarsa, Italy, and specializes in Italian varietals such as Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and Barbera. Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, Gendall joined as assistant winemaker in 2016 and became head winemaker in 2019, and also serves as director of winemaking for Cline.

Jacuzzi Family Vineyards honors the immigrant family behind its name. Valeriano Jacuzzi and his brothers left Italy’s Friuli region in the early 1900s and made their mark as inventors — first of aviation propellers, later of the water pumps and whirlpool baths that made ‘Jacuzzi’ a household word. Their descendant Fred Cline built this grand stone winery in Carneros in 2007 as a tribute to his maternal grandfather Valeriano and the family’s heritage, modeling it on the Jacuzzis’ northern-Italian roots. Fittingly, the estate specializes in Italian varieties — Barbera, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Pinot Grigio — a nod to where the family’s story began.
