About the Estate

The Jacuzzi family is famous for the whirlpool jet — but their California roots run deeper than most know. Italian immigrants who arrived in the early 20th century, they farmed in Northern California for generations before Giancarlo Jacuzzi founded this Carneros estate in 2007. Set on 300 acres with an 18,000-square-foot Tuscan-style building modeled on the family's ancestral home near Udine, the estate celebrates Italian heritage through both architecture and winemaking. Alongside Carneros Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, they produce Barbera, Arneis, Primitivo, and Sangiovese. One of Carneros' most hospitable estates.

Kyle Altomare grew up in Sonoma County and spent years working harvests across California and Spain before joining Gloria Ferrer in 2012. He became Head Winemaker in 2016, bringing a meticulous approach to traditional method sparkling wine rooted in extended lees aging, precise blending, and an almost obsessive attention to the character of individual estate blocks.
