Trinité Estate is the Sonoma project of Gonzague and Claire Lurton, fourth-generation winemakers from Bordeaux. The Lurton family's holdings in France include Château Durfort-Vivens (Margaux), Château Climens (Sauternes), and Château Ferrière. The estate sits on the hillside of Chalk Hill Mountain on the appellation's distinctive white volcanic ash soils, farming Bordeaux red varieties and whites for the family's signature California red blend, Acaibo. Wines are vinified in a converted old barn on the estate (a working farm aesthetic far from the Bordeaux château formality), and the program emphasizes structured, food-friendly wines that reflect serious dry-farming and the chalky substrate beneath.

Trinité Estate is owned by Gonzague and Claire Lurton, fourth-generation Bordeaux winemakers, on a 24-acre Chalk Hill property where the Russian River, Alexander and Knights valleys converge. Farmed organically and biodynamically, it focuses on Bordeaux varieties and the signature Acaibo blends.
Visits are by appointment only and are some of the most thoughtfully constructed tour-and-tasting experiences in northern Sonoma. The standard visit is a private vineyard walk with a guide, typically estate manager Pascal, who bakes bread the morning of the visit and serves it with the wines in the old barn alongside charcuterie and cheese. The Vines to Glass experience extends the visit to two hours and includes a side-by-side comparison of Acaibo with one of the Lurton family's Bordeaux Grand Crus Classés: a pairing few California estates can credibly offer. The lineup includes Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and the flagship Acaibo red blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot). The Lurtons also operate a separate downtown Healdsburg tasting room (G&C Lurton, 422 Healdsburg Avenue) for visitors who can't make the appointment-only estate visit.
