Named for the elevation of its hilltop blocks, Winery Sixteen 600 produces some of Moon Mountain's most intense old-vine Zinfandel alongside volcanic Cabernet Sauvignon. The focus on old vines — some of the oldest on the mountain — yields wines of deep complexity that can't be replicated on younger plantings. The Coturri family's vineyard-first philosophy — Phil Coturri's pioneering organic farming, with son Sam Coturri leading the cellar — lets the volcanic terroir speak with clarity. One of Moon Mountain's most distinctive small producers.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Sonoma Valley — A single-vineyard, certified-organic Cabernet honoring the family's Sonoma heritage.

Severson Vineyard Zinfandel, Sonoma Valley — Classic old-school Sonoma Zin from a rare valley-floor site; brambly red fruit, white pepper and baking spice.

Petite Sirah — A dark, structured small-lot bottling from organically farmed hillside fruit.

Field Blend — A co-fermented red led by Zinfandel with Grenache, Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouschet; a nod to Sonoma's old mixed-black vineyards.

Founded in 2007 by pioneering organic grower Phil Coturri with his wife Arden Kremer and sons Max and Sam, Winery Sixteen 600 makes small-lot, single-vineyard wines exclusively from the certified-organic vineyards Coturri farms — reds rooted in Sonoma, alongside Rhône varietals and Grenache.

Founded in 2007 by Phil Coturri — California's most influential organic viticulturist, farming vineyards for producers like Kamen, Amapola Creek, and Moon Mountain Vineyard for over 40 years — along with his wife Arden and sons Max and Sam. The tasting house is a 120-year-old farmhouse just one block from the Sonoma Plaza, set up with antique theater seats, a vinyl turntable with eclectic selections, and Stanley Mouse artwork (the designer of Grateful Dead album covers). Tastings are deliberately comparative — wines poured side by side — focused on single-vineyard bottlings sourced exclusively from certified organic vineyards that Phil farms personally. The lineup covers Rhône varietals (Grenache, Syrah, Viognier), Zinfandel, and Cabernet Sauvignon. One of Sonoma's most personality-driven tasting experiences.

Winery Sixteen 600 is the label of Sonoma's Coturri family — founded in 2007 by famed organic and biodynamic viticulturist Phil Coturri with his wife Arden Kremer and sons Max and Sam — with Sam Coturri leading the winemaking and the winery's Sonoma tasting house. After more than four decades pioneering organic viticulture in Sonoma Valley, Phil farms the certified-organic vineyards through his Enterprise Vineyards company, and the winery bottles small-batch, single-vineyard wines that reflect that vineyard-first philosophy: Grenache and other Rhône varieties, field blends, and the Cabernet and Zinfandel that honor the family's Sonoma heritage. The labels feature artwork by family friend Stanley Mouse.

Arden Kremer co-founded Winery Sixteen 600 in 2007 alongside her husband, legendary organic viticulturist Phil Coturri, and their sons Max and Sam. The family winery draws exclusively on certified-organic, single-vineyard fruit from the Sonoma Valley hillsides Phil farms through Enterprise Vineyards. Beyond the cellar, Arden is an accomplished olive-oil specialist and producer, crafting estate olive oil from the same land. A steady force in one of Sonoma’s most beloved farming families, she helped turn a deep-rooted commitment to soil health and place into a label known for Grenache, Rhône varieties, field blends, and heritage Cabernet and Zinfandel.
