Eric Ross is a boutique winery across from Jack London Village, founded in the early 1990s by two San Francisco Chronicle photographers — Eric Luse and John Ross Storey, whose names combined to make the label. Long since solo, Luse runs it on a single creed: "Taste the Vineyard," the right variety in the right microclimate.
