Little Saint is a sprawling, light-filled gathering place a block off the Healdsburg Plaza: at once a wine lounge, 100% plant-based restaurant, coffee and cocktail bar, and live-music venue. Locals Laurie and Jeff Ubben opened it in 2022 in the former SHED building, with a mission rooted in sustainability, art, and community.
The wine lounge and bottle shop anchor the ground floor, where an 800-plus-bottle, sustainability-minded list (natural and chilled wines, pét-nat through deep-cellar bottlings, with a strong Sonoma and California emphasis) pairs with farm-driven plant-based bites. Upstairs, The Second Story hosts free live music on Thursdays and has drawn names like Beck to its tree-canopy room. Come for a glass, a meal, or a soulful night out. Dog-friendly throughout.

Laurie Ubben, an animal-welfare advocate, and her husband, Jeff, bought the former SHED building a block off the Healdsburg Plaza in 2020, opened Little Saint in 2022 and took over all of its food and beverage in 2023. The place runs on the belief that what we eat can be an act of kindness, served entirely plant-based alongside wine, music and art.

Jeff Ubben, a Bay Area philanthropist, co-owns Little Saint with his wife, Laurie. The couple bought the 10,000-square-foot former SHED space in 2020 and in early 2023 took over running the whole place themselves: wine lounge, bottle shop, plant-based restaurant and The Second Story music room, built on sustainability, art and community.
