Charlie and Molly Meeker founded The Meeker Vineyard in 1984: Charlie, a Los Angeles film executive who would go on to run MGM, making bold Sonoma reds on weekend trips north. Early on, an authentic 40-foot tipi served as the tasting room and inspired the wine club, the "Meeker Tribe." Charlie passed away in 2021; today Molly is president and their son Lucas, the second-generation winemaker, carries it forward.
The signature is the Winemaker's Handprint Merlot: every bottle wrapped by hand in rainbow paint, more than 24,000 a year. Beyond it: age-worthy Zinfandel, Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, the Four Kings Bordeaux blend, and playful experiments like a carbonic Dolcetto, a Pet-Nat, and the FroZin dessert wine. After years in Geyserville's landmark 1903 Bank of Geyserville building, the room now sits a few blocks off the Healdsburg Square, sharing a building with Longboard Vineyards. Enter through the gate on the left, with pours in the working cellar and a tucked-away "secret" patio.

Molly Meeker co-founded The Meeker Vineyard with her husband, Charlie, making bold Sonoma reds that began on weekend trips north from Los Angeles, with a tipi for a tasting room. Since Charlie's passing in 2021 she has led the family business as president, alongside their son Lucas, the second-generation winemaker, with the same fun, family spirit.
