Winemaker Rob Schermeister, who trained under cult names Aubert and Pahlmeyer, made his first 125 cases of native-fermented Pinot in 2012; designer Laura Erickson moved west for a harvest, fell for both the wine and the winemaker, and stayed. They married on Mount Veeder in 2017.
Their creekside studio in Glen Ellen's Jack London Village is intimate and art-filled — Laura designs every label, Rob built the décor, and dog Eli greets at the door.
