Owners Scott MacFiggen and Regina Bustamante spent a dozen years tasting through the Loire, Rhône, and Burgundy before opening their room on Vine Alley, the European-style passage just off the south side of the Sonoma Plaza. Winemaker Kieran Robinson — whose résumé runs from the Finger Lakes to Côte-Rôtie to Napa — crafts roughly 1,000 cases a year: Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Pinot Noir, Rhône-style whites of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, and Roussanne, and a rosé of Syrah, all lower in alcohol with bright natural acidity and the lightest touch of oak.
