The asterisk says it all: you don't have to be a wine snob to enjoy wine — your taste buds, your rules. This small, modern-industrial tasting room in downtown Glen Ellen is owned by winemakers Lindsey Blanchard and Ryan Kuhlmann, who pour every flight themselves and farm their grapes sustainably and organically.

Tasting Highlights

Featured Flight — four current releases, from Chardonnay and Pinot to oddballs like Chenin Blanc, Sémillon, and Tempranillo.

Lions & Big Reds — five reds with a port-style pour and a chocolate truffle, named for the Sonoma Valley mountain lions on the labels.

The lineup ranges from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to oddballs they love — Chenin Blanc, Sémillon, Sangiovese, Tempranillo — plus a ruby port-style dessert wine. Many of the reds honor the Sonoma Valley mountain lions tracked by the Living with Lions project, named for individual pumas — P1, P5, P13 — whose territory overlaps the vineyards. Flights start at $20; indoor and outdoor seating, dogs of any age welcome.

Lindsey Blanchard

Co-Owner & Winemaker

The wife half of Wine Snob*'s husband-and-wife team, Lindsey co-owns the winery and makes the wine — hands-on in the vineyard and low-intervention in the cellar. In 2025 she and Ryan opened a second, sparkling-only label, Wolves Lovers + Thieves, around the corner in Glen Ellen.

Ryan Kuhlmann

Co-Owner & Winemaker

The husband half of Wine Snob*'s two-person team, Ryan co-founded the cheekily named winery in 2021 and pours nearly every flight himself. In 2025 he and Lindsey launched a sparkling-only second label, Wolves Lovers + Thieves, in downtown Glen Ellen.
