Chemist-turned-vintner Bob Mueller founded his label in Healdsburg in 1991, chasing small-lot Russian River Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. His acclaimed "Emily's Cuvée" Pinot leads a lineup that includes old-vine Zin and Syrah. The intimate room — Bob often pouring — is open weekends or by appointment.

Mueller Winery is the work of Bob Mueller, a chemist and biologist by training who studied enology at UC Davis and ran the cellar at Chateau Souverain before founding his own label in Healdsburg in 1991. His focus from the start: small lots of premium Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
The wines stay family-made and personal — the acclaimed "Emily's Cuvée" Pinot and "LB" Chardonnay, plus old-vine Zinfandel and Syrah, all Russian River fruit. The intimate Healdsburg tasting room is the easiest way to try them, with Bob often on hand. Open weekends or by appointment; reservations required.
