Restaurant Sample is invented: a family trattoria that shows how a restaurant appears in LocaleTerroir. Picture a long room with a wood-fired oven at one end, pasta rolled by hand every morning, and a garden patio under the olive trees. The wine list stays close to home, with Sonoma bottles poured beside a few old friends from Italy.

This page is a sample, made to show what a full LocaleTerroir restaurant page looks like. Restaurant Sample does not exist; everything about it is invented. Imagine three brothers who brought their grandmother's recipes to Sonoma County and opened a trattoria where the bread comes out of the oven every hour and the pasta is rolled at a marble table by the front window.
The room is warm and loud in the best way: long tables for families, a counter for two, and a patio that fills on summer evenings. Regulars order the same dish for years and never tire of it.

Invented for this sample page. Luca Ferrante grew up rolling pasta beside his grandmother outside Bologna and brought her recipes to Sonoma County with his two brothers. He tends the wood-fired oven himself, shops the local farmers markets every week, and changes the menu whenever the farms tell him to.

Invented for this sample page. Elena Marchetti runs the dining room the way she would run her own home: a table is always found, regulars are greeted by name, and every guest leaves with a recommendation for tomorrow. Before joining the brothers she spent ten years on Sonoma County dining room floors, and she still pours the wine herself on busy nights.
